This popular ‘buzzy’ show is suitable for everyone interested in painting – at all levels of abilities from expert to complete beginner!
The show will be brimming with interesting features as well as all the very latest art supplies, ideas and innovations. Popular Artist Demonstrators will be showcasing a whole range of mediums, materials and subject matter and whilst at the show, visitors can vote for their favourite painting in the ‘Simply the Best’ Leisure Painter & The Artist Magazine’s Painting Competition. There are workshops and demonstrations running throughout each day of the show, plus the chance to win a Painting Course with Bee Morrison.

The Artist & Leisure Painter magazines will be bringing you pre-bookable workshops in association with Daler-Rowney, who will be providing each student with over £50 (rrp) worth of art materials per session. Workshops will include Acrylic Landscapes with Tim Fisher and Landscapes in Mixed Media with Soraya French. Book your place via www.painters-online.co.uk/workshops. Popular artist Fiona Peart will also be demonstrating on The Artist and Leisure Painter stand, each day of the show.




Simply the Best Painting Competition
Why not enter the 'Simply the Best' painting competition, sponsored by the Leisure Painter & The Artist magazines. 30 finalists will be chosen to be exhibited at the show, where visitors will vote for a 'People’s Winner'. NEW for 2010! Demonstrator Forum
The Demonstrator Forum will include Jamie Boots, a Wildlife Graphite Artist; Gareth Watling, an English Garden Birds Artist and Mark Holiday, Fine Detail Artist & Fairytale Illustrator. All the Artists in our Demonstrator Forum will be offering demonstrations right throughout every day of the show. Here’s your chance to ask the artists all those burning questions you have always wanted to ask and learn some top tips by watching them, close up, in action. Just turn up and take your seat.



Society for all Artists (SAA)
Artists Jeremy Ford and Matthew Palmer will be demonstrating their painting skills to visitors, each day of the show. These fun and informative sessions will provide lots of ideas and advice for beginners and more experienced painters alike.







Kuretake Mini Workshops
Seen us on Create and Craft? Bought our pens? Still hungry for more? Join us for fantastic mini-workshops for our famous ZIG® Memory System pens and learn amazing techniques or our ZIG® Art and Graphic Twin® for budding watercolourists or stamping enthusiasts!



Win a Painting Course!
Each day of the show one lucky visitor will win a One Day Painting Course with Bee Morrison at her studio. Each course will include refreshments, lunch, all the materials and tuition from 10am to 4pm. Watercolour techniques in landscapes and flowers are a favourite and will follow a seasonal colour scheme.



Jakar International Limited/Caran d'Ache
Artist Brenda Chappell will be giving daily Caran d’Ache demonstrations using their Artist Quality Colour Pencils including the latest Luminance 6901 Colour Pencil.
