The SAA - Society for All Artists

Popular professional artists Jeremy Ford, Fraser Scarfe and Matthew Palmer will be offering a host of educational workshops and demonstrations each day of the show, suitable for both expert and budding artists.

Paul Antonio Calligraphy Demonstrations

An approachable and vibrant teacher, famed artist Paul Antonio will offer an unforgettable experience with his Calligraphy Demonstrations at Art Materials-Live. Paul will showcase an array of his favourite calligraphic scripts, such as Copperplate using a variety of mediums including: traditional dip pens, nibs and ink, plus Manuscript’s popular range of modern italic, CalliCreative markers.

Daily Programme

10.45	Make your own mark with Derwent Artbars Vivien Blackburn will be demonstrating the new Derwent Artbars and accessories. Derwent Artbars have a beautifully, creamy consistency and as they are wax based they can be used with water to create amazing paintings. Vivien will be showing visitors how the Artbars open up a world of expressive mark making and rich opaque colour.
11.30	Humbrol Paints on Canvas! Humbrol has become recognised worldwide and is one of the largest and most progressive companies in the fields of modelling, hobbies and crafts. Watch and question our artists as they show you how to use Humbrol Enamel paints directly to canvas, creating unbelievable results.
12.30	Textures Techniques using Procolour Liquid Acrylic Linda will be demonstrating ProColour, a water based liquid acrylic. Procolour is the ideal medium for painting Animals, Flowers, Landscapes and Portraits. During Linda's demonstration she plans to show a variety of techniques that can be employed on your paintings which will aid to you in achieving those elusive but straight forward ways the professionals use daily to obtain what to many are impossible effects. 14.30	Premium Art Brands (Graph IT) If you are a crafter looking for something new, then why not come along to the Lecture Theatre at 2.30pm to see the brand new Graph It Alcohol Marker range. Urban Fine Art

GreatArt are very proud to introduce Urban Fine Art at Art Materials live 2012! Visitors will have the chance to visit the GreatArt stand to see Molotow’s fantastic range of One4all acrylic paints and markers in action, as demonstrated by Positive Arts. Positive Arts are one of the first, most respected and recommended Street Art companies in the UK who aim to transform the negative public perception of Street Art.

The innovate one4all hybrid paint can be used with a brush, palette knife and sponge or in a marker to produce fine lines and creative effects. All these techniques can be combined to create an Urban Fine Art masterpiece!
