SAA: Society for All Artists

The SAA are offering a FREE gift pack (worth £65) to visitors taking out SAA membership at the show, plus professional artists Jeremy Ford, Fraser Scarfe and Matthew Palmer will be offering the following workshops on Stand N18:

Jeremy Ford Pastel Workshop/Hands-on Area.
Fraser Scarfe Demonstrations in Acrylic Atelier Interactive.
Matthew Palmer Watercolour Workshop/Hands-on Area.

There are three separate areas, so all three will be running all day every day at 10.00am, 11.00am, 12.00pm, 12.45pm, 1.45pm, 2.45pm and 3.45pm. There will also be a trial area of Clairefontaine papers and the SAA shop area. Don't miss it!

Hugh Miller - painting an 15 foot canvas at the show!

Professional Artist Hugh Miller will be using Pebeo XL oils to paint a massive 15' x 5' canvas during each day of the show! Be there and watch this amazing artist at work and see how the canvas progresses! Also, you can have a go at using these different mediums yourself in the Pebeo Workshop Area.

The People's Painting

The Art Shop Skipton, Pebeo and professional artist Hugh Miller will be teaming up for ‘The People’s Painting’, an enormous picture created by visitors to the show and then displayed on an eight metre wall.

Hugh Miller’s picture of a wooded autumn scene with stream will be reproduced as a similar printed image cut into 300 sections, which will be on the Pebeo stand – in bits! Each section will be numbered. Visitors to the Pebeo stand will be asked to pick a number between 1 –300 and then they will try and replicate the colour/image on the numbered section they choose. Visitors can use acrylic/oil/ink/resin/Fantasy (range of Pebeo hobby paint), to replicate the original. This work is then stuck onto a giant blank canvas opposite Hugh Miller, called ‘The People’s Painting’, and over the duration of the show a Hugh Miller copy will be produced using mutli-media!

To ensure the children who visit the show don’t miss out, Pebeo will provide pre-cut canvas sheets and all finished work will be hung in an area behind ‘The Peoples Painting’ called the ‘Little People’s Painting’!

Demonstrator Forum

Come along and meet the professional artists who will be demonstrating a variety of techniques and mediums throughout each day of the show. The artists will be more than happy to chat to you and answer all your questions!

Demonstrating Artists

Artists will be demonstrating throughout each day of the show. They will all be pleased to offer help, guidance and support to everyone looking to develop and expand their painting techniques. The demonstrations will be inspiring and most importantly all will be FREE of Charge, so make sure you take advantage of as many opportunities as you can! No need to pre-book, just turn up and take your seat.

Artists Theatre

There will be Theatre Presentations at 11.00, 12.15, 13.30 and 14.45 each day of the show.

Guilds, Societies & Associations

We are very pleased to welcome many Guilds and Societies to the show, offering a wonderful opportunity for visitors to discover more about their fascinating art forms.
